This two level, one bedroom, one bathroom vacation condo is located at Whistler Creekside, the original base of Whistler Mountain. Walk out the front door, cross the parking lot, and you are at the lift. Leave your skis in the in-complex ski lock-up, then relax after a long day of skiing in the year-round outdoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna. The Lodge's excellent location provides access to a full range of services such as a massage clinic, a 24-hour grocery store, a deli, gas stations, fine restaurants, lounges, pubs, a beer and wine store, video rentals, and public transit. And it is still only two miles or a five minute drive from the Whistler Village. This is a great quiet area for those wanting to avoid the crowds of the village, yet have many amenities close by and be as close to the lifts as anywhere in Whistler. This unit is comprised of one queen sized open loft bedroom on the second level, a full kitchen/dining/living area with double sized sofabed on the main level, cable TV/VCR, and a cozy gas fireplace. Secure Underground Parking: open. Rate Base: 2 guests. Maximum occupancy: 4 guests.

1. As you can see the cleanliness was not acceptable-no vacuum cleaning had been done in a part of the lounge.
2. Our preference would to have had a washing machine in the unit as previously experienced when staying at Lake Placid.

Great spot, convenient to everthing, excellent view of the main street of creekside, hot tub in the complex, everything I needed in the condo, quiet and clean - would highly recommend!

Overall we liked it much, but check-in with the lock boxes and PIN numbers was slightly confusine (about 10 minutes of panic before we fitured it out in the night). The web site said it was ski-in ski-out location. In fact we had about 150 m to walk to the Creekside Gondola, still not bad. We never saw anyone in the reception area (a manager or clerk) - but we had no need of such live help. The dishwasher in our unit (317) did not work well, we ended up doing dishes manually.

NOISY NEIGHBORS FOR THE THREE NIGHTS DIDN'T SET A GOOD START FOR VACATION.CHECK IN CHECK OUT PROCEDURE WAS VERY SIMPLE AND DID NOT REQUIRE WASTE OF TIME.SWIMMING POOL AND JACUZZI RIGHT DOWN THE STAIRS! COULDN'T BE BETTER.... SAUNA THOUGH WAS NEVER HOT ENOUGH:((( SLOPES WERE FEW STEPS AWAY,ONLY 2 MINUTES WALKING GENERAL - GREAT LOCATION!!!

Wonderful location. Accross the road from the bus station, ski hire and shops, Whistler Kids (Ski school) and close to the Creek Side Gondola. When we return next time to Whistler, we will stay at Lake Placid again.
