Comments from guest "We really enjoyed our stay at the Wildwood. Robb the very helpful front desk person recommended suite 108 to me on the phone, since we have two very young children. This suite was at the back of the property, so nice and quiet, and it was ground level with a large patio and a grassy area. The kids loved running around and playing out there. It was really helpful when we had to be back at the place for our 1 yr. old to nap, we didn't feel like we were cooped up in our room since we could go outside. It was also really quiet for nap times and early bed times. Being in the trees back there also made it very comfortable and not hot in our room - and we were there during the heat wave over the Canada Day week. It's true there's no AC but we honestly were perfectly comfortable the whole time.
This place is not fancy but it was great for us, and a really good value for Whistler. It is just a bit of a walk or a very short drive to the village, and it is also just a nice trail walk to Lost Lake which is a great little beach.
The pool is really nice too, and we mostly had it to ourselves everytime we went.
We had a great stay and we plan on returning. If you want a quieter and much less expensive stay than in the village I would highly recommend this, especially for families.
And they are very honest! My 1 yr. old (the little stinker) pulled my brand new cell phone (still in the box) out of the suitcase and hid it somewhere. I hadn't started using the phone yet and had planned on setting it up while we were on vacation, but I didn't end up doing so. We kind of forgot about it! And even when we got home, I went back to work and was using my old phone - and then the Wildwood Lodge called me and asked if we forgot anything important in our room?! I felt pretty stupid, but I was really impressed by their honestly since I hadn't even contacted them.
We would recommend this place :)"

I just wanted a place to sleep at in Whistler. For it was the only one except hostels. So I clicked it in expedia. I'm not sure if I really clicked 250 C$ per night or liability to changes, but it's worth it.
Only a bit useless for a single backpacker just to spend two nights in.

We had a fantastic experience at the Wildwood Lodge. Check in was easy even though we arrived late at night. The room was comfortable, clean, and cosy. We could ski out and with a bus stop right in front of the building it was easy to get back.

Location, decor and facilities of the property were very good but most of the kitchen utensils, plates etc were very dirty. This was very disappointing given we paid a 90 dollar cleaning charge as part of the rental so expected everything to be spotless.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, the condo, unit was fine - nice to have kitchen. We had a very hard time finding it with the Blackstone Loop, so more specific directions would be helpful for first timers. We arrived late and had to page the person 3 times as we got different people and then they just cut off and we didn't know if we were being helped. Also - would be helpful to number the old code locks with numbers as we had a number but no numbers were on the lock. Very frustrating at 11:30 at night. Tissue was found under bed - kinda gross.
Overall - we were very satisfied, liked being a walk a way from villages and would come again. Just need better specifics on directions and lock.
    Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean with plenty of space for the 3 of us. The bike storage was nice too. We enjoyed the pool. The only thing lacking was patio furniture (only one chair). We ended up sitting by the pool mostly anyway -plenty of seating and shade for lounging. Also, if you like a fresh towel every time you shower, bring your own extras or you can pay $25 for new ones. They only changed the towels once in two weeks. We brought our own beach towels for the pool. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The place is very close to the upper village. We walked everywhere from there.

I went to Whistler for 10 days for Ironman Canada. Wildwood lode is awesome. Great unit with lots of room and beautiful private patio. Great view of the mountains from the pool and hot tub. Located on a very quiet street but a quick walk to the main village. Very friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again!

Stayed at Wildwood in March of 2013. We had 4 nights in #108. The unit was clean, well furnished and appeared to have be updated not too long ago. We loved the fact that it was a ground floor unit w/ a patio and direct access for our 8 year old to play in the snow. Being from Hawaii that was a pretty big deal for her! It was a great value w/ just a short walk to base of Blackcomb (would've been ski in/out, but the trail was partially melted). No laundry in room, but close by and convenient. Jacuzzi was nice too : ) Would definitely book this unit again!

We have stayed here many times and are always satisfied with the service of the staff. This particular unit is fairly basic, with no fancy upgrades, but is still functional and meets our needs. It could be maintained a bit better - one kitchen light doesn't work properly, the tap was leaking & one screen fell off the window, but other than that, it was fine. The building is in good shape & has a great location. And they have an excellent hot tub! We call the Wildwood 'home' whenever we go to Whistler.

Loved this place! The apartment was very neat and well laid out, the keyless lock was great for when we came off the mountain at separate times, and the hot top was lovely. It is a bit of a walk from the village (about 10mins) but very close to Blackcomb base. Would definitely stay here again.

The Wildwood property overall is a great spot, in a good location, with a pool & hot tub - perfect for families. Suite 108 that we stayed in is a bit run down..could use a paint job and a little TLC. It also could have been cleaned a bit better as there was crumbs/small pieces of garbage under the sofa bed, but otherwise was satisfactory.

The apt. as always was satisfactory but it could use some updating & painting & a few minor repairs where walls are chipped. The toaster although bright red did not toast very well. The rug is beginning to fray. The unit is great for us but others might want a bit more pizazz. We appreciate all you do to accommodate us.
